In this video, Jeff comes across and solar powered water tank and tells you how you can use solar power on large acreage, off the grid land in Arizona.
From the video:
Hey, this is Jeff with Southwest Land Deals. We’re out here looking at some property up in Northern Arizona, some big acreage, recreational type of properties. And as we were driving around we ran across , if you can see right behind me here, a solar panel on a water storage device.
And so what that probably is, is going to be some alternative power source to pump water into the house. There’s a house a little bit farther, maybe a quarter mile down the road. So I just saw that and it made me think about some of the great off the grid type of resources that you can use. Solar, obviously, is going to the be the best one in terms of power, in terms of where things are at. And this one just has two solar panels, just a small, little system to power the unit. We drove by a house earlier that, I think, had six or eight panels to power it. There was actually a propane tank on there, so they were getting their gas through a propane tank. And then a well, so they were getting their water just straight from a well that’s similar to this one. It had a solar panel on there to pump that.
And so, like I said, I just wanted to show you just kind of one of the simple types of set ups out here that you can do as an alternative power source, a solar power source out here on this more rural, recreational, off the grid type of land in terms of, you know, giving yourself power. As you can see behind me, it’s just gorgeous out here. Like I said, we’re in Northern Arizona, up in the high desert, on larger properties, 40-acre parcels out here. And we’re always getting new ones in if you check us out at SouthwestLandDeals.com or you can give us a call at 480-442-7787. Again this is Jeff, and I just wanted to give you a little taste of what solar power on just a water tank looks like out here, off the grid on the larger acreages. Thanks!
